I love this story! It shows the friendship between our beloved characters. It's great to see that they care deeply about each other and the Voyager's children.

Guest chapter 1 . 1/22/2015
This is such an original and heartwarming story. It's great to see that the friendship has continued through the years. I also liked the realistic way in which Chakotay made Tom understand that Miral wasn't ready to be admitted into the Nova Squadron. It must have been hard for Chakotay to tell Tom and for him to accept it. It's a testament to their friendship and respect for each other that the conversation ended well. I would love to read a sequel where Tom and B"Elanna confront Kathryn and Chakotay about their son.
Guest chapter 1 . 6/10/2014
Very sweet. As a parent of young adults I can say your story rings very true.
Iowanmom chapter 1 . 5/2/2014
My goodness you do these characters such wonderful justice! You make them come alive! It had to be so hard for Chakotay to have that conversation with Tom. Equally so when Tom and B'Elanna have a similar conversation with The Admiral and Chakotay about their son. They're all still a family looking out for one another... I also like that despite the different ranks, one person isn't better than another. Yet you touch on the fact that because these are children of Voyager crewmembers, they will be held to a higher expectation than other teenagers, by society. Interesting, yet true.
This was a great Fic. I really enjoy the relationship btwn Chakotay and Tom. You write them well.

Was just thinking about this story today and wanted to say, again, how amazingly well told it is. For direct, literal, as-we-saw-them-on-screen-most-of-the-time fiction extensions, you're top of the heap, and especially exemplary is this story. Every piece of dialogue, every positive characteristic, nailed.

I like to think there are two sides of the coin for these characters, and, on the lighter side, you absolutely excel. I adore how much you love these characters, how much you like and want to love them, which shows so clearly in the voices you capture and the warmth you convey.

Well done, through and through.
KJC-56 chapter 1 . 3/21/2014
This story left me with nothing then a broad grin and a big smile.

It's so good to see that after all these years our boys are still the same ones they used to be. Tom, impulsive and wild at heart, and C still trying to talk some sense into him, but now as a friend.

But the most amusing idea to me was that C used his position to bribe a teacher in order to keep harm from somebody he laughs. True Maquis spirit!:)

Entirely entertaining. Thank you for sharing.

"The children of Voyager." I like it. What a concept that is new and original. Again, extraordinarily good.

hester4418 chapter 1 . 11/28/2012
Lovely. Really lovely. There aren't too many stories set this far in the future that I like, but this one is... well, lovely. ;-) I love the family feeling they still all share, after all this time.

Thanks for sharing!
