Wonderful story as usual. Although a pairing is not determined here, I have the feeling that you are favoring Saber and Shirou, and I quite hope that you do. I quite like that...date I say that I love them as a pairing.

Ignore the haters. I'm glad this focuses on Rin and Saber in addition to Shirou. Thank you for writing the story.

Honestly pretty disapointed here. You haven't noted Rin or Arturia in the main characters but Shirou. Rin is the most common viewpoint and the one who's accomplished the most. Arturia is the one who seems to keep getting the archdemon souls though maybe Rin got this one since I doubt you had her suddenly no longer have an injured leg, find a magic sword and 1 hit an archdemon to give Shirou that power boost.

What disapoints me is that the story summary had me think that Shirou would be doing this alone and would be forced to grow in power, competency and maturity to match the sitatuion he was facing. Instead it's Rin taking up that role being both extremely competent with magic and with physical ability enough so that Shirous physical buffs are irrelevent. So Rin is actually the Protagonist of this story, Arturia can't seem to accomplish anything with Rin needing to pop in and save the day and Shirou being the downtrodden and abused dog that handicaps everyone around him. That wasn't remotely what the story summary suggested it would be.

The Armored Spider and the Fire Demon remain, to this day, the only Demon's Souls bosses I've ever beaten without a scratch. If you've got a bow, the Thief's Ring, and enough arrows, you can fight *both* of them without ever being hit. Just stand on the left side of the entrance for the Spider, and one of the rocky protrusions on the wall will block its fireballs while you turn it into a pincushion. The Fire Demon is a *little* harder, but it's stupid enough that there are a couple of places that you can stand and hit it with arrows without it ever being able to find you. As long as you wear a Thief's Ring, you can plink *it* to death, too.

I've seen plenty of SoulsBorne fics, but I think this is the first one I've seen use the OG, Demon's Souls, as its base. Nice. _

As for fitting canon, it lines up fine with what I remember, so take that for what it's worth.

Can a Command Seal get sabor to muster the will to subjugate the Demons possessing her?

There's a problem: How many arms does the Dragon God have?
~ In the previous chapter Shirou shot off one of it's arms, yet here it has 2 hand to attack with.
~ Then using 2 hands (when he should only have 1 due to one arm being shot off) he blocks Caladbolg, thus totally mangling them off.
~ How can the Dragon punch without hands?

When Berserker was defeted, his soul went to Illya.
But you never wrote to whom the soul's of the Demon & Arch-Demon went.

It's great that they killed Berserker.
The only thing worse than a Demon Possessed berserker would have been a Berserker possessed by an Arch-Demon.
