Good job. Love the boys being handcuffed together. And of course Steve would take the blame for the shot. And then Danny would feel guilty Steve got shot and took a beating meant for him.

Not a bad story though I must say I was very disappointed with the lack of the promised Danny-whump. I skipped most of the story looking for it.

In this chapter Steve sounds so much like Gibbs. I could see/ hear Gibbs saying the exact same thing that Steve did in this chapter. Look forward to reading the rest of this story.

Thanks for not abandoning the story. It gives me more confidence in reading ones that are in progress. Had some that were left in limbo. It's like someone taking a good book that you're not finished reading and telling you that you can't have the rest.
