This is actually the first time I've read Frosthawk. I'm sure it's because I'm new to reading fanfics. I'm finding that I'm enjoying your story a great deal more than I thought I would. The character development is lovely. This connection that has been forged between Hawkeye and Loki before officially meeting is interesting.

I know that life can prevent obstacles to our hobbies. I am not the sort to nag anyone for updates when I personally hate deadlines. I'm a knitter and refuse to take commissions for a reason. I only ask, please continue. This story is amazing. :)

Im surprised you're going canon. I would have thought you'd try something tricker. Like...have him get sheild to help him willingly but pretend not to know. In exchange loki gets his birthrights, sheld gets the avengers going, info (cuz we all know how crazy they are about intel)...and even an alliance open to trade and stuff. That way loki isnt just helping himself but the other jotuns too.
Sorry im babbling. But this is a great story! Great job! I look forward to more!

woulden't we all love to see how this makes things different were Loki to find himself on earth again. :D

Jesus Christ on a muffin top. To think I scrolled past this story he first time I saw it makes me want to cry. This is utterly breathtaking and amazing. Your character developments and plot just make me squeal like a girl and melt into a puddle. I just started playing with the idea of FrostHawk and now that Ive read this virtually everything else pales in comparison. I hope to see an update soon-very soon. My heart cannot wait yet another moment to see the next chapter come.

Questions:

Did you create Loki's mother and the plot with the old king all on your own?
How do you plan out your chapters? Is there an outline or do you merely write it out and organise at a later time?

Oh this story is just so awesome! Frosthawk is like the best pairing ever and it's a shame that there's so few stories about them:-(

dang it, I keep forgetting to ask about this, so here's another review.

Loki was able to connect to Selvig through the Tesseract and get some knowledge from him; he hasn't done that with Clint yet. Is it proximity to the Tesseract or is Loki worried about Clint's perceptiveness? When he is controlling Clint they have a strong connection (which apparently makes sex mind blowing), what is Loki able to see from Clint? They are aware of intense feelings, but will Loki be able to see Clint's memories? I started thinking about this when it was mentioned that Loki had actually helped him work through some things instead of breaking him completely. So does he see what happened to Clint on that mission or get a feeling or vague notion? Just wondering. All will most likely be explained, I'm just impatient.

hmmmm, that was...interesting. Well, if you can find Clint distracted, why not have some fun? I'm enjoying Loki spying on Clint.

I am seriously wondering about Loki's feelings for Clint. And I'm wondering b/c I like the idea of them. But, what exactly is Clint to Loki? Loki thinks all these wonderful things about him and he's obviously intrigued and attracted to him, but then you say he would do worse to him without much thought and if he gets the Tesseract and not Clint it wouldn't be too much of a loss. So... is it just lust? Does Loki see him as a pet? He's going to feel bad about having to hurt Clint and I'm understanding that that's just what will have to happen for Loki to get things done but to what degree will his remorse be? I'm trying to see how they could end up together after everything, and it's getting hard. Not that I'm not picturing many scenes where he gets him back, but that doesn't mean they could realistically happen in this story...unfortunately, b/c I'm liking them.

On another note, I have watched the scene in the Avengers, where Loki comes and takes control of Clint, a few times...in slow motion...;) and is it just me or does recognition/realization cross Clint's face when he gets a good look at Loki right before Loki tells him he has heart? Makes me think...

Clint's view on the mystery visitor is cute; as is the imagery of Loki as a cat.
