Does this mean Sophie gets to meet the Whitebeards possibly? I’d love to see their reactions to her and hers to them. And how the Hearts would react to her meeting more famous pirates. I’ve really come to love Sophie. Her little ticks and wise cracks just really endeared her to me the more I read.

ok i dont know how i got here, heck i aint even in this fandom, the only thing i know about One Piece is that they are about magical pirate with magical fruit. but man aint your summary great af and first chapter in and i am sooo dig it. love the pace, love the description, great action. got a feeling that the character and plot gonna be good too, so i should probably buckle up for this ride at 2 in the morning.

I apologize for the lack of my usual long shouty reviews for the last few chapters (life has been very crazy and I haven’t had the mental power to be eloquent) but rest assured I have read them all and screamed just as loudly and flailed just as wildly as usual. I remember the first time I read this fic was years ago, when I'm not fully in One Piece fandom yet so all of this felt really confusing as someone who's not had any idea that half of the islands Sophie and the Heart Pirates docked are not in manga nor anime at all.

But now, a fully declared One Piece fan, I am here rereading your fic again and I can't help but to fall in love with your work. The way you wrote Sophie and how she seamlessly worked herself to the plotline, unintentionally changing things and caused ripples all across the Grand Line without directly crossing path with The One Who Started It All aka the Straw Hats were just *chef's kiss* I love it.

Also there's something about your narrative that were enchanting me, the way you cut scenes and reconnected it just, in my wholesome honest opinion, flawless. It makes me want to rip off the whole chapters and display all of them for the world to see.

There's so much of my favourite scenes in this chapter alone like the end scene where Ace and Sophie were jailbreaking, ready to set marines on fire like a badass motherfuckers they are, are just pure Badass. Sengoku finally draw the line of the fate of Rocinante's boy? Heartwrenching. But Sophie shooting Sengoku with a water gun? Legendary.

knowing what will happen to ace i’m going to be devastated. holy shit this chapter was amazing, i really wonder how you will pull this off (especially post-time skip, now thinking about it i’m sooo ready for sophie new looks). anyway this fic is everything i’m always in a better mood when i get a email notification that it has been updated, can’t wait for this new (and stressful) arc!

My heart aches thinking of what may come in the future; always an interesting take on whether an author will choose to keep Ace alive or not but I'm predicting you will not keep him alive (unfortunately.)
Is Sengoku's mentioning of Rocinante canon or is that for your "worldbuilding flavor" (love that)?

So to start off, I really love this chapter. Sophie's continuous ability to be in the wrong (right?) place at the wrong time is my favourite thing ever. But when I finished this I took upon your suggestion to reread certain chapters, namely 13, and now I've learnt my hopes are still to be crushed
But regardless I'm still very excited to read onwards. I love this fic and it deffo has top spot for favourite oc character fics. You capture the One Piece humour element incredibly well and it always makes my day to read this. Good luck for your next chappy and hope you are staying safe.

Pineapples... Holy pineapples. Great world building btw and am freaking happy that you updated, just made freaking day. Just as I thought, Sophie's butt is cursed to be forever unlucky with this kinds of stuff, worrying her Captain (with benefits *wink wink*) to no end. Everthing's about to go down harder than my calculus grades and I'm just living for it. And based on the foreshadowings you've dropped from the previous chapters, (and yes I remembered them pretty well) I need to ready myself for the oncoming emotional breakdown once Ace gets donuted to death. But for now, I'm gonna focus on what you'll dish out for this arc and I expect more awkward ramblings from Sophie, charmingness from Mr. Pectoral Freckle Face and a boat load of mad brilliant insanity once these two pyromaniacs get together to just blow shit up at the marines faces.
