PhillyGirl27 chapter 7 . 4/19/2017
This final test prior to becoming permanent RangeMan employees was a very creative way to assess the skill levels and teamwork building abilities of the probies, Myrna! Steph proved her worth to the group and even held her own against the OC who figured she was the RangeMan Comfort Girl. She quickly and painfully showed him otherwise. All of your OCs were believable with unique personalities. Great job! Thanks! -Kathy

definitely enjoyed )

LOL SEAL - Sea, Air and Land - Don had almost as much climbing time as dive and jump when I knew him. They are first insertion teams, and if you have to go up a cliff to get ashore, you go up a cliff to get ashore. [I have a landing beach named for me on the invasion plan maps for Libya from back in the 80s ) ]

This is Fall Brook in Geneseo NY. It was one of my favorite picnic and hang out spots growing up.

makes me wistful for the camping we did when growing up back in the 60s and 70s before parenting got so damned anal retentive
aruvqan chapter 3 . 6/18/2015
LOL Boy will he find out she isn't the company ho when Ranger gets back and he thinks of continuing to treat her like one )

I know she is useless outside, but I bet there is going to be a logic puzzle with her name on it. SHe does excel at logic and intuition.

And I bet the consequences to Terry will include her killer knee action - if he isn't careful he will be sneezing DNA.
aruvqan chapter 2 . 6/18/2015
i think everybody should learn orienteering and geocaching - back when I was mobile we did it and it was an absolute blast ) I still carry a small compass an old friend gave back in college [one of those silly plastic ones from a bubble gum machine ) ] to remember how much fun we had.

And my brother dated one of a pair of identical twins, they had double piercings in opposite ears as a way of telling them apart ) growing up they absolutely hated being given identical gifts and being dressed alike and fought it as much as they could - and boy howdy they were opposites!

Vulcan Rider chapter 7 . 1/22/2013
Absolutely WONDERFUL story. I just the other day found your profile and am trying to make the time to get through all your stories. I see that there is a sequel to this and I'm thinking we haven't seen the last of Terry. evil grin

I really loved how you had each of the team members working toward the goal, except for Terry, of course. There is always that one person who thinks they are better and more worthy. You wrote his character very well. I loved how the guys' attitudes changed and how each did their parts. I especially LOVED the part where Steph was the experienced climber. It sounds like something she would have loved during college. It was awesome watching their "team" mentality grow and getting to see her commitment and development as a true Rangeman employee. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire story and look forward to more. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us.
