I think it would work much better if you revealed Naruto's training during shippuuden events as necessary and through interludes instead of making a whole story about it.

I just want to point out that Kurama does have human but fur-covered hands, not pawns. That is a detail people missed often when writing stories involving him.

If you are going to go into detail about Naruto training during the time skip then you might want to consider having Hinata join him on the trip. As for the many chapters you have published since my last review I thing they were all good, I loved that Hinata made it to the final, that she develop the jutsu she created from the filler early. As for Naruto I like that he learned Rasengan and wind manipulation early The only trouble where Naruto is concerned is that his fight are not that exciting seeing that he does not have that much speed, very little precision in his taijutsu or in his chakra and element manipulation though that is understandable considering you don't want Naruto to become to good to soon. I'm really hoping that you will have Naruto develop precision fighting skills, with or without chakra in addition to whatever else you have planned, because if he doesn't Hinata will always outshine him, in my opinion that is.

I'm surprised Naruto hasn't even mentioned the Key yet to Jiraiya, after all with the Contract as proof that Kurama isn't going to try and get away there is no reason for Jiraiya not to give him the Key.

Great chapter and definitely liking the one-sided romance good job so far and good luck with the relationship of Tsunade and Naruto!

I loved it. I hated the fact that Jiraya didnt teach Naruto the clone training method after Kakashi mentioned it. Also, it seems from the manga that Jiraya was very focused on getting Naruto to use Kurama's chakra, he even tampered with the seal to make it easier... so thank you for a Jiraya who actually TEACHES Naruto, and wants him to increase his own strength, and not rely on Kyuubi...

I loved this chapter it was awesome can't wait for the next 1!
