Don't know how I missed this when it was first posted! Great story! I felt they missed some great opportunities with that ep. Still loved it, but wanted more.

Not a bad story. Actually kinda kind...except Gibbs coming close to dying at Dearing's hand. Not anywhere close to the truth.

This story is amazing! I love the Tony/Gibbs interaction...I vote for more stories like this :)

Wonderful story! I give it 4 tissues out of 5. I cried my eyes out. A wonderful take on the events. I'm inspired by the way you wrote Tony's part. It's true to life-real. Having Gibbs not know what to say and just muttle through was a stroke of genius. Your story is absolutely PERFECT !

Absolutely great story, although I think Tony is right that McGee and Ziva really wouldn't care if something happened to him. I try to keep that "family" feel for the show, but the way Ziva and McGee act really turns me off. Love your story and Gibbs with Tony.

Very nice, it would have been nice to see more of that interaction in the episode, you had to feel for Tony, the first episodes are showing that something is off in his relations with others, hopefully the writers might follow through with some Gibbs/DiNozzo angst this season.

When Gibbs went to Tony's place and Tony cried...I had tears running down my face...
