But sad, knowing the end...

This was great. I know it really should have been a perfectly obvious observation, but I was really hit by the Doctor's thought that neither one of them knew each other. The only experience he had with River was one that she had yet to have, and she had never met him so early. Nicely done. Wished it had gone on a bit longer though as I find his early thoughts on River very interesting.
