i can't even put to words how good this thing is and how mad i am that the writers didn't follow this exact script.
this is the best fanfiction i read so far and i think this will keep being my favorite.
the plot, the progress, the characters matching their behavior, the text.. the list just keeps going on. there are some golden lines and dialogues in this story i find myself reading over and over again and getting the same chills.
you are a talented writer and nothing more to say than - thank you. it was a pleasure to read.

Thank you for writing such an insightful and meaningful story between Lin and Toph. They are two characters with so much, for lack of a better word, character and their relationship was never properly explored in the series (yet). You did an admirable job showing how the daughter became what she became and gave a deeper significance to Lin's sacrifice of her bending (which didn't seem possible to be honest). All in all I enjoyed it greatly.

Another thing. My friend Kharta also enjoyed your story and wanted me to pass on his kudos to you. This is really amazing. I've never really read a fanfic quite like this - I was so surprised when I actually started crying during Toph's death in this chapter. I had to stop reading purely because I couldn't see the words.
