This was so intense, and so heartbreaking. What a beautiful pairing you’ve created! You convinced me totally. And what an attention to detail- the drug usage was so nonchalant, and yet so terrifyingly to the point. I could really feel the pair of them, young, and feeling their way through life. Definitely one of the best fics I’ve read. Thank you!

Awww mannnnnn, why did I come back to this story? *cries* If I wasn't going through another Sherlock phase I could have carried on with life fine with not getting updates. Although there were only 12 chapters when I fell out of my last phase and now there are 29, I see it's been two years since you've updated - OVER TWO YEARS technically, and I have only 3 parts left for now. So depressing. This story is incredible. I barely get to see the real Donovan in the show but you give her young character such a great flavour!

Because the story isn't marked as 'Complete' I was completely in denial when I began reading your note at the end. :O No scenes at Sherlock's home during the summer? Oxford? :(

Silly me, I could read it said 2005, no going back from there I guess. I just had to log in for your sake and say thank you. You did a remarkable job with the Sally/Sherlock ship, and the summary of the story is reflected well in the last few chapters. The way in which Sherlock shuts out his emotions for Sally so mechanically, and how she expected it but still wasn't ... ready.

As another reviewer wrote, thank you for the closure. This story deserves more attention. Sgt Donovan doesn't deserve the scorn so many people in the fandom give her.

I really just want to read it all again right now! So perfect. I love that the sexual tension draws out slowly and that you explore a proper friendship catered to their personality types. You've set the bar high!

I'm really enjoying this. You've made both Sherlock and Sally such interesting characters. I like how this isn't a story about how amazing Sherlock is and how Sally is just so lucky he even talks to her.

This is different and not just in the Sherlock fandom but from any story I've read recently. I was a bit skeptical when it began with Sherlock as a druggie- I like a good angst story but a story were the characters are destructive from start to finish is just depressing.

This however is quite interesting. Your writing is amazing. I like the dialogue between the characters and the overall story flows beautifully.

Oh my gosh. This was so amazing. I loved every word and I loved reading and re-reading this fic. I started reading it when you had gotten to maybe chapter 18 and stopped around 15 because it hadn't been updated in a while and I didn't want to finish it right a way, but I restarted (and re-read) around the beginning of the year and it was soooooo worth it. This is definitely one of my favorite fics ever and you are one of my favorite authors. This was beautiful and thank you writing and updating and giving me a damn good ending with closure. Thank you again, you lovely author.

I've been in denial that this was over as soon as I finished this chapter, but I owe you a glowing review because this fix is my favorite in this sometimes flaming clusterfuck of a fandom.
