I personally do like quietly epic Merlin in the series, but I don’t mind reading a fic of him being a bit more obviously so. In the last eight chapters, I have laughed, teared up, and been a wee bit turned on, not gonna lie. Keep it coming! (Also, in answer to your question on the beginning of this chapteryes, I HATED that scene. With a fiery passion. So bless you. This was most satisfying to read.) |

| Nightwing15 chapter 8 . 8/8/2019 It's been a while since I've seen Merlin, so I don't exactly remember where this is from, but I DO know that Merlin standing up for himself is EXACTLY what I needed. So thank you for writing this. And, um, if you're still writing, I have a prompt...? You don't have to write it, it's just a prompt you can either ignore or answer. Merlin gets a chance to show off his sword-fighting skills (because I REFUSE to believe that he picked up NOTHING from Arthur's "training" and watching the knights train and observing countless melees that involve people with unique techniques) when he, Arthur, and the Knights are trapped by bandits (or some other group because I'm not clever enough to come up with something original) and he's able to get free, but doesn't have the time to untie Arthur and the Knights. BONUS: He gets to throw a few knives and look bad-ass while doing it. |
