Wow! This is really well-written and the imagery is so vivid and great! The emotions are so raw and pure and deep, and the descriptions are just really amazing! (to note: the tension was really well written, and the images displayed when yata is remembering how they used to be (and the mentions of totsuka!) were completely heart wrenching. you could really feel fushimi's betrayal).

Possibly the best dramatic Sarumisa fic I've read to date. And to think you wrote this around episode 3. They haven't even interacted yet! Genius to have made this up with what little material was available then.

Another cool thing is, it sound so canon! Fushimi and Yata were so IC, this could really pass off as something canon. Or maybe that's just the SaruMisa fangirl in me talking.
