It seems there's more to the Elements than meets the eye. If the Element of Magic is 'continuously binding', maybe breaking that bond (Discord-the-concept is all about that sort of thing after all) will call down punishment. Using a magical artefact of peace and harmony to create war and discord might not be the best idea, especially if the artefact might be semi-sentient or have some sort of failsafe.
I wonder what would happen if the Holder of, say, Loyalty would turn traitor (for real). Would the element stop working for them? Would the element find a new Holder? Would it... turn the Holder to stone? *dramatic chord*

I have waited so long for an update and this one simply did not dissapoint. I very much like your rendition of the battle against Discord. Actually if it were canon, well then the message of love and tolerate would be a little more powerful. Canon-wise all we get is that ponies worked together and beat Discord...we don't even know how the elements are actually weilded from just two Alicorns. Your story, your story is quite nice. Godrick, I love the name; a throwback to Harry Potter methinks? Taurus a bull of legend, certainly a name worthy of an elmenent bearer. Thorn however gets me just a bit, but that's because it's the name of an OC being used in a OCXRD ship type story. Drago would have been more mythic, or Bahumaut for dramatic dragon effect...ignore my nit-picking though.

This story is stimulating. Your knowlede is exident, and your creativity/originality is now blossoming. I will continue to look forward to updates to this story.

In all seriousness, this story is great! A story that gives Luna a convincing personality, such as her being a bit less... 'Friendly' than her sister, but still acts like a caring princess, espically with her desire to improve her relations with the ponies. Plus, her getting lonely at night adds a lot, even as simple a subject as it is.

And as I said before, you've made Trixie and Gilda into enjoyable characters. Even though we haven't seen that much of Trixie, Gilda is already showing signs of development.

And Shining Armor... Let's just say I pity him, espically if Twilight and her friends show up... Oh boy, can't wait for that...

But really, everything is great so far, and I am looking forward to more.

I never really watched MLP past the first episode, but this is an entertaining read.

A suggestion: Show Trixie and Gilda's personality change into something more sympathetic otherwise they'll become repellants to readers; if they change like they seem to have begun to, the readers/ fans will be rooting for them! I am.

Poor shining, caught between a lack of sleep and a hormonal wife lol. Curious what sorta clout Luna has with griffin legal matters. Even more curious the parents' reasoning.

This is one of those surprisingly entertaining works that I will not pass any judgement on until it is complete. I have to say I like the plot and bring written from Luna's POV is something I just have to fall in love with. My compliments to whoever is doing your editing as well. Only a few ninja errors here or there but none so terrible like in so many other works I have read. I eagerly look forward to updates!
