| Rori77 chapter 1 . 7/22/2018 THIS. No more wasted time. This is how I imagine Kenshin would proceed acter Jinchuu. In the manga he never strikes me as indecissive or insecure. Quite the opposite, sometimes. I have read and enjoyed many stories about how it takes him a long time and effort to reach the point where he decides to court Kaoru. Here, however, he goes straight to the point and I love it. Thank you. |

| sueb262 chapter 1 . 6/20/2015 Wow. It's not easy to convey intimate Kenshin and Kaoru-most authors either go way "too Western" with it, or turn them into cartoonish "Japanese" caricatures. This scene between them is subtle and moving, and really makes me feel their relationship. Beautifully done! (I love your physical details-they really make the picture come alive.) |

| Quickslice chapter 1 . 11/8/2013 This is amazing, I could perfectly picture them both sitting and just holding each others hand while Kenshin had his head on Kaoru's shoulder. Reading this fic made me think of the episode wherein the Kenshingumi went home to Tokyo after the Shishio battle, particularly the ending where Kaoru welcomed him home with her palm up and Kenshin took it with his own, saying he's back. I love to think that, that time Kenshin finally realized that he now has a home to go back to. |
