I enjoyed this very much - it was an intriguing insight into Tony and Gibbs' relationship. It goes some way to explaining why Gibbs can be an absolute so and so to work for yet is the person who Tony goes to when he needs 'comfort'. Perhaps it is that Gibbs and Tony both, in the end, will do the right thing even if Tony is usually more doubtful that he has done so. I wonder, in this version of Gibbs/Tony, if you would have Tony going to Gibbs beforehand for advice or will always just go to Gibbs after the event to seek endorsement?

That was very nicely done, touching yet without being sentimental or taking either Gibbs or Tony out of character.

I wish we could see something this good on-screen more of late.
