Ha, like leaving Cat behind is going to stop him - if he can walk between dimensions, he can follow you across the state, Coraline. And sit on your stomach while you sleep, staring at you. And maybe bat at your sleeping face with his paws. (I don't know exactly what's going on, but he totally sounds freaked out enough to do that).
If she's really staying in Norman's room (I'm assuming she'll have a sleeping bag or something), that'll be hilarious the first morning, and groan-worthy for the rest.
