Dude, I totally understand! Honestly, the series has been dead for a while now, and the fandom along with it. I'm just so glad that I found what exists of this fic. :D Please don't feel pressured to bring it back or to apologize for anything-inspiration dies, and all things have their time. I've had exactly the same feelings before, where my ideas were too huge and all-encompassing that it would be literally *impossible* to write everything down (unless I decided to write for years on end, and I agree that that feels way too excessive). I understand your reasons completely.

Really, I wouldn't want you doing anything that you don't feel fully comfortable with, such as bringing back Inugami just to please readers. You've done an amazing job here already. Congratulations, and thank you so much for writing this fic!

...I actually find it a really powerful story with the mirror being unable to grant Inugami back his life. I had been expecting this fanfiction to end with the mirror being used, but that would have been a bit predictable (although super sweet, omg, I would have shed tears).

And I had been wondering if you would touch up on how Tamazuki always carries the dog in his arms! It was something that I noticed in the original series too. This is a great explanation for it. Yup- definitely adopting this story arc as a headcanon.

Although I will say, I was a bit confused when the red oni joined in. O-o; Since I had been picturing Tamazuki fighting the samurai youkai, I thought that the oni was a typo or something at first. I don't really understand who the oni is or what he's doing there (though obviously he wants the mirror, like a lot of youkai do). But then again, perhaps that's mentioned in the next chapter, so pardon me if that's the case!

Oh man, I love this idea! It really feels like an original Nurarihyon no Mago chapter... though I will say, it was pretty obvious that the mirror will be used to reincarnate Inugami. ; I caught, like, 3 hints even though I understood it from the very first one.

Oh, this was a really great chapter- I was blown away by the line that showed how Tamazuki is now ostracized like Inugami was as a human...wow. Wow. That's such a powerful idea. I love it, and I might even adopt this as my own post-series headcanon. :)

(Also, the bit where Inugami turns to see Tamazuki's reaction to the villagers hating him, and you descibed his face as expressionless...I feel like that's very in-character. I can picture him choosing to not show nay reaction, as it's the perfect way to keep his pride while still acknowledging that he's done something wrong.)

On a different note, I'm so excited to meet another Inugami fan! We should talk over PMs- I was sooo sad when the series ended, because it felt like nothing afterwards really lived up to the Shikoku arc for me. :( Inugami was a fascinating character, and I'm so glad to have found this fic!

OMG... OMG... this is so adorable. Honestly when I read the original I cried. I couldn't help it. I liked inugami. I feel like he was just misunderstood and abused in many ways. I just want him to get his happy ending. He deserves it. So does tamazuki even with all the mistakes they have made they deserve it. BTW good luck with your college entrance exams. I hope you get into the one you desire and fulfills your wishes.

I feel the urge to cry. I really had my fight with the last episodes of the first season, I cried SO many nights because of these two idiots. *sighs* And now I'm reading such an adorable story about them ... I love you for that. Fanfictions including these two and their relationship are SO rare. I love how you describe the puppy and his reactions. And I also love how you let Tamazuki act. They're both in character here, and I can see that you give lots of thoughts to it. :) Thank you very much.
