That was fun, and sad, and realistic, and I think Rick and Kate will be just fine. But she does need to learn to like cats.

Only a genius like you could take a crazy prompt like this and turn it into something that good. I loved the part where Kate is washing his wounds at the skin and he won't meet her eyes. Could totally picture his face. She was kind enough not to say "I told you so". That is so Castle, he's grown up some since he started shadowing her, but he's still very much a kid.

Cute story ... painful for both of them with the dog bites and shots and the cat scratches and spraying, but cute overall. Happy that Lemon-Lime didn't get released in a groggy state. I was rooting for the black kitten to come home with them. Thank you for writing!

This was very funny and quite enjoyable.

Poor Rick had to put up with the cat from hell and Kate had to get rabies shots for what happened at the beginning. I can understand why Rick felt the way he did to Lemon Lime, it's because he has such a big heart. It's also why Kate didn't complain and helped him a bit with the cat especially with the idea of getting the feral creature into that program she found. Things definitely worked out in the end. I did find it adorable that Kate was looking after it in the bathroom where Rick found her. That was a nice scene.

Loved how things ended. Wanting to get a pet but got a plant instead.

I really enjoyed the talk Rick and Kate had about cats and children. That was so very well done. Rick's final line of the chapter was priceless especially after having to through out the plant.
