Words are not enough to describe how excited I am to have found this story. Please, please, please continue (and I love slow and steady stories, so long is great for me)! Rarely has it been my immense pleasure to come across a story as well-written and with as much vivid imagery and emotional truth as that contained within your beautiful narrative. You have definitely earned yourself a new fan.

Nice update! I like that Korra didn't back down even after Tahno started to taunt her with the fact that they made out. Seems more IC to me than her being too flustered to fight back. I also enjoy that she does distrust his intentions and wonders if he only kissed her to mess with her mind. Makes sense given that they're still rivals and barely know each other.

You also did a good job on Tahno's thoughts before and while his bending was taken. I can picture him being scared inside but deciding to put on a brave front because he wants to maintain his image and is too arrogant to acknowledge that he might be out of his depth.

Ooooh, this was brillliant! I loved the tension - it was gritty and always present and oh-so-sensual, and you cannot possibly know how impressed I am that you managed to keep it on such consistent levels throughout the entire chapter, so close to boiling point but never actually culminating. (Aaand my mind went straight to the gutter there. Haha.)

I also utterly loved your characterisations. For all of their civility, Korra and Tahno are still undisputably Korra and Tahno, and while I've only been in this fandom for a short while, many of the fics out there (I'd go so far as to say most of them) don't come quite close to capturing their characters as you do, so kudos to that.

Anyhoo, overall, yes, I really really enjoyed reading this. (Awful? What are you ON? Then again I wonder what your "good" is like if this writing is "awful" for you, heh.) Thank you so much for posting, and please know that I will probably follow this fic religiously. No pressure. :)
