Wooooooow. How amazing and beautiful was that? You has the banter, moments of which reminded me of the Joe Wright (Knightley and Macfadyen) film adaptation when Elizabeth stumbles upon Darcy and Georgiana playing piano and Georgiana tells her brother to force Elizabeth to play a duet.

You had multiple beautiful lines, especially words the end.

You included a lovely plot to go with your witty dialogue and poetic clauses, like her giving him a book.

Everything was fantastic and made me feel all the feels. Thank you.

Ps: Before last week, I had never read a single Harry Potter book either, so I guess Darcy and I had something in common. (I only read it as it was for a course).

Very well done. Captures the awkwardness, the fragile threads of hope, the confusion. Poor Gigi, to be in the middle of all that and not have a clue. But Gigi is right about something, it is time for Darcy to realize she has grown up. Loved the whole inscription thing. I can so see him treasuring that, and Lizzie scrambling for the right thing to say.

This was really wonderful. The dialogue and details were spot on and I could easily bounce back and forth between their dialogue and imagine Gigi doing the same as she tried to figure out what happened at Collins & Collins. the backstory about Aunt Catherine's cats was so great, and the almost sad and awkward pause at the table when they reveal Annie was their mom's name. I love Lizzie's curiosity of wanting to know more about the Darcy family even as she tells herself she shouldn't wonder.

The end with the HP book and the inscription was so great, I loved how simple and honest it was and the idea that Darcy was well into the book was so telling. Thanks so much for this, great work!
