So glad I found this story again! I read it before and felt like reading it again after rewatching Clone Wars. In the previous chapter, Katooni had asked Hondo if he ever had anything of value that he wouldn't give up because of how much it means to him, and he said nothing. But it looks like Katooni is now something very valuable that he'll never give up.

I'm gonna act like this is canon, but they separate ways and faked their deaths then reunited after the destruction of the Empire.

This needs a sequel. I really enjoyed this story. It would be interesting to read what happens if and when Katooni and Hondo meet up with Ezra than Kanan. Heh! That would be a very interesting read wouldn't it?

I still love this fanfic so so much, I keep coming back to it. I just love it. Hondo and Katooni are amazing working together and I wish the clone wars would have picked up on that more instead of ignoring it.

Say, what happened to that Ice Age 4: Age of Man fanfic story?

I've always liked the idea of Katooni joining Hondo after Order 66 but it's such a small story in the greater galaxy, I didn't really expect to see more than a one shot of it. But then I found your story and it was awesome! I can't blame your muse, though, Hondo seems like an exhausting character to write. Thanks for the story :)

So I recently watched the youngling arc of Clone Wars and honestly this fic was everything I probably could have ever asked for in a Katooni-Joins-Ohnaka-Gang-fic. It's just... so FREAKING ADORABLE AND EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK AND HONDO CARES MORE ABOUT THIS CHILD THAN PROFIT.
It's kinda funny, actually - I was considering writing a fic similar to this, as I'm fairly certain most agree that if Katooni did live she'd join Hondo, but I don't think I'd be able to outdo this one. It's got a lot of the same beats and moments that I'd have, and even if this one is shorter than originally planned it's still amazing. I am VERY happy that I found this story and while I wish there was more to see, I understand that sometimes it's hard to continue writing something you've lost motivation or inspiration for.
If I could, know that I would fave this because it's one of very few stories I've ever found that's been able to see into my mind and find exactly what I wanted out of a fanfic.

A fun read, and most enjoyable. Like many fans of The Clone Wars, I've found Ohnaka and 'Tooni were too good a pairing to let slide. "Bub-bub-bub, all this to-do about war profiteering, the Empire, and the Rebellion! Let us celebrate for once about family! A family made stronger by... My companion. Katooni of the Ohnaka clan."

This was brilliant. The interaction between Hondo and Katooni in this chapter was truly heartwarming. Maybe I will write a fanfic similar to this one and credit this fanfic as my inspiration. I'm so sorry it had to be cut short but you really ended it well. Thank you for a n amazing reading experience; I will not forget it soon. :D

Yes! I've been looking forward to this reunion. I love both Hondo and Kenobi; their dialogue should be entertaining.
