| rebecca-in-blue chapter 1 . 8/18/2018 I really like the interaction between Edmund and Tom Riddle here. It's so creepy, how in the beginning Tom is so sure that he'll be able to use Edmund in any way he wants, but as they talk more, he finds Edmund getting the upper-hand in their conversation. It makes sense that after what he went through in Narnia, Edmund would be too wise to fall for Tom's offers of power, or even to be effected by magic. He almost seems to cast more of a spell on Tom here, and there's a good air of mystery and danger through the whole thing. Wonderful work. |

| Dalilt chapter 1 . 6/13/2014 I really liked this short story. For once Tom isn't a maniac bent on the destruction and killing for no reason, and Edmund isn't shown as the little kid he onde was. I loved their interactions and the way that Edmund in a unconscious way (or maybe on purpose) keep the posture and reminded Tom of who was the King, even if the latter refuses to admit that he was interested in him. |
