I enjoyed this fic. I think my favorite part was when Haldir met her at the river and was singing to her after he had disparaged singing. I also enjoyed that he stayed to comfort Aeslin after her first patient died. Thanks for writing this lovely story.

I read the entire story and I loved it so much! You especially kept track of the events and the time in good manner and the story was easy to follow. It was great reading it!

This is my first time reading a LotR fanfic...and I have not been disappointed. What a beautiful story. I loved every minute of it. Thanks so much for not killing off Haldir. I couldn't of taken that.

I am not totally won over by this story.
In one way, I think it portrays the characters in a way that feels realistic, and the timelines seem good for the eternal lives of Elf (like studying something for centuries, and visit someone for decades..). Also characters are not godlike, which is nice. And not totally evil characters, no bashing, makes it even better.
What I am not liking of this story is how most situations and conflicts of this story are passed too quickly, without going in depth with most situations. Which makes it difficult for me to engage in the story or in other words to care about the characters.
Yet I don't think I could have written this better, since writing is not my talent.

Hello! I just finished to read this story, and I can say that I cannot stop until the end. The characters are really interesting, and well développed. It was really cool to see the story of the lords of the rings from this point of view also.

I read this story and forgot to leave a review so here goes. It was so good. I always really liked Haldir, though we never saw much of him. And i was so sad when he was killed at Helm's Deep. The poor elf wasnt even supposed to be there. So I was happy to see a fuc about him. You had me scared though. You followed so close to tbe story in other respects that I really thought youd let him die. I was so happy when he lived but I still dont understand how he did. Great story though.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this story. You keep true to the canon characters and your original ones have their own depth. You give a side story to the Ring war that adds to its tragic glory. Thank you for opening another facet to the jewel that is Middle Earth.

I see you wrote this from the movies, and sincerely, I spent half the readimg wishing you wouldnt (most of the time until it became obvious I had hope, because I never wanted forma Haldur to die) I'm happy to say it is one of the best movie bases fanfics I've read, thank you for sharing and forma leaving it complete and so very happy you didnt kill the characters in the end, I've had enough drama from books lately and a well written fanfic with a happy ending was all I needed to feel happy again.

A fascinating story! I liked Aeslin, a great healer and her family ties with Legolas and later Elrond. Of course I was so happy Haldir escaped death, the chapters about Helm' s Deep were maybe sad but amazing. Thanks for sharing your fic!

Really loved the story! Would have loved a chapter from Valinor with them being reunited with Thranduil and if the child was a boy/girl and the name :)
