This was just beautiful and so believable! It could fit in perfectly with the canon story. I love how you've made Caroline perceptive and mature because sometimes fanfic writers have a tendency to make her the 'dumb-blond'. I thought that it was so beautifully sad and I would really love to read more of your writing.
