Just wanted to take the time to thank you for this series. I’ve come back to reread it quite a few times over the years. It’s brought me comfort during difficult times in life. I hope you know how truly gifted you are as a writer and I just wanted to let you know how much solace your story has given me. Thank you for sharing and bringing a bit of brightness to my world.

Whoa, its been a long time since ive seen your stories (last chapter i remembered reading was when Jane was pushed off the building in Omega O_O). I was very excited and happy to see the story continue! Although i am ashamed i didnt keep up with this, im glad i didnt have to wait for those all those cliffhangers.

This chapter was slightly depressing. It felt like this part of the story is over, maybe the entire story even. Although I hope that's not yet the case.
It's interesting how some on Shepard's screw seem... jealous of Abby. It's like everybody's competing for Mother Shepard's attention, and doesn't like that this new kid seems to get more than her fair share.

The relationships mean everything. Every single interaction builds it up despite the wear and tear.

Goodbye is the hardest thing to do.
I hope Samara is doing better.

Was so happy to see the notification for this in my inbox after a long day. I still love how you handle Abby's situation of being outside this universe, it's good to see her come back into the story. Always looking forward to another chapter.

Hm, not very satisfying on my point from last chapter but other than that an excellent job. I do hope our main romantic pairing can get a little resolution of the directly communicated kind before Jane has to leave. Thanks for your hard work on this and for the indication that you are doing at least somewhat well. Looking forward to future installments.

I liked how you framed the tendencies of both your Jane Shepard and Hannah to take responsibility for the Badak situation. Hoping to see some interaction wetween Jane and Samara soon and really glad that you're continuing to move forward on this piece. Hoping you're well and to see further installments soon.

I'm always looking forward to more Abby&Asura, but even though they were not part of this chapter, it still made for a good read. It felt like a small-stage play, with only 1 location, and 3 people having a discussion - an estranged mother-daughter pair trying to find common ground, with a mutual friend in the middle.
It must be weird having your mother as a nominally superior officer - even if Shepard has more actual authority due to her Spectre status, or would have, if she wasn't injured and in the infirmary - and having to deal with somebody who's generally used to make decisions, and who's also used to deciding things for you, in your best interest of course. So actually, both women were struggling to adjust to the situation. Well done.
