Aw. That was a cute idea. A little random, but enjoyable. Characterisation/dialogue was pretty good for the most part, although for some reason I have difficulty imagining Sherlock saying "the thought was displeasing to me." Anyway, that was sweet.

The idea that Sherlock can sense down the 'phone when John's blushing doesn't surprise me but it was a nice word picture.

I also like the idea that Sherlock truly believes (and I'm sure that he does!) that he can 'fix' words.

Homonyms are sometimes fun though. Perhaps a second fic where something nice happens as a result of this 'word confusion' might be forthcoming?

I like this a lot. And I'd love to find a brand of milk carton which doesn't shatter like it's made of glass when dropped :)
