jason is seven years younger than thalia but you forget that thalia a tree was. she should be 21 in hoo because her birthday is in december. jason is 15 during the attack on mount othrys because his birthday is in july.

Interesting concept, but too much filler going on. I wish you would skip to the main points and do more time jumps because a lot of what's going on is really slow and long to read. I also don't think Percy meeting Apollo and Hermes at such a young age for literally no reason is even close to realistic, fantastically speaking. Percy is just a child, and though he may be Poseidon's son, right now he's an unknown and unlikely to even live very long. He's not important enough to be visited by two Olympians just like that. He's not even the probable child of the prophecy at this point since Thalia is alive, and older than him. I saw you question how old you should make Thalia and Annabeth, and it honestly makes no sense to me why you would change their ages at all. I also wish you wouldn't have Percy interacting with Luke, Thalia or Annabeth before he gets to camp, and that Thalia would meet the same fate as canon. Percy's on his own path, and Luke, Thalia and Annabeth are also on their own tragic adventure. Just because they're all demigods on the streets doesn't mean they need to meet up. I think leaving Thalia, Luke and Annabeth to their canon fate would be much better, so that you can focus on Percy exclusively and his development. Instead of going to camp at 7 like Annabeth, he could spend those years on the streets, hunting monsters and training both in fighting and godly powers unrestricted by the confines of camp life. Having Percy make it to camp at 12 like in canon but as an entirely different person could be the catalyst that affects change from that point on concerning canon quest events.

I wish you would have gone in a different direction. I respect your right to write as you want here on FFnet. You have interesting ideas, it just wasn't for me. You do have great talent, however, and I wish you the best of luck.

Horses and other animals that Percy can speak to will call him Lord Perseus not Percy, as his real name is Perseus and hadn't told the horse what to call him yet.

yeah fyi annabeth and percy are the same age thalia was 12 or 13 and annabeth was 7 in canon when they got to camp. it wasn't right before the lightning thief plot.

so I haven't reviewed yet which is a good sign for me because it means your story has sucked me in but I had to because you made that damn harry potter pun that I couldn't help but laugh at. while I'm here though I did want to say that I noticed parts that were repeated for instance at the end of chapter 12 you mentioned that he had his bag and whatnot even though he didn't have then when he ran out of the hotel but then you wrote it again at the beginning of chapter 13. there were a couple others that I noticed as well but I don't remember them off hand. other than that though this is really freaking good. few if any spelling or grammar errors, great story overall.
