Again, and even moreso this chapter, you have SUCH a good grasp of the characters. I love how mysterious and conniving Pitch is. I LOVE the moment North asks "Are you here to say those things?" to remind us that above all he is a kind-hearted person. I love Jack's frustrations and empty threats. He's a bit of a "paper tiger" in some ways, especially without his staff - and I'm sure he's had to act like that due to other threatening spirits in his 300 years alone too. Great fic, even if it's unfinished!

Ah man this story is so great. I love the setup here. You put so much lovely detail in, but not so much as to make it too heavy a read. It's just a great writing style. You also have a really good grasp of the characters' personalities. Great job! I know it's unfinished and likely will never be finished, but I still love this fic!

Well this looks definitely different! I love that you're making it different in that Jack doesn't melt in a little heat. He's already got a big Achilles Heel with his staff, he doesn't need another one in which he's like a drop of water on a hot skillet. Pitch is playing an interesting game. I'm kind of guessing the scene where Pitch is laughing and all after Jack does his light burst on his sand is what inspired you-"Finally! Someone who knows how to have a little fun!" Well color me intrigued...
