I have absolutely adored this story so far. Since this is the third one, I have to finally stop being lazy and post a review haha.
Though seriously, this is my favorite installment thus far (and I reeeealllly hope that there will be more. I haven't checked yet).
It's been great so far and I love the way you write both Steve and Loki here. This story actually brought tears to my eyes. I know it's not necessarily sad, but reading that twinge of hope and then Steve almost ruining it and then pulling it together in the end. It was great and I enjoyed it a lot.
I guess Steve has some explaining to do now lol.

Awesome. I can't think of what else to say that I haven't said in previous reviews (though all true, still repetitive)... I have to say, I haven't commented on your astonishing (for fanfiction) lack of mistakes in punctuation, spelling, character or plot... nor on your brilliance as pertaining to your Loki.

Yes! There was another in the series. Still hoping to find more lol.
Loved this one, how Loki faked his death and Steve was the first person he went too. And I just really feel bad for Thor at this point, with all the times Loki's been thought to be dead and then turned out not to be. What a roller coaster ride.

Wow. Characterization there is just amazing. I love the depth and the fine intricacies that this covered. The push and pull relationship where it seems like neither of them are sure where they stand is very intense in a way. Loki keeps trying to push Steve away, testing him and trying to be proved right that he is unloved and better off alone, and yet at the same time, he continues to reach out, always full of excuses, but proving that he is in need of connections. Steve feelings are equally complicated, and everything's just so... Intricate! I love it.

Oh, wow. I love how this story (the long arc) progresses, even while each story is contained within itself. This one was so interesting, that there was some push back and forth, that things progressed and regressed, it feels... real (whatever is real about a story of a super-soldier and a Norse demigod). I like that you take the time to progress their story. That even though Cap is always hopeful, he still has his spine, he fights back, he regrets but stands his ground. That Loki cannot help but push back, push the limits. Cannot completely guard is reactions.
So, so interesting.

I really wish you would make this an all out fanfic. I enjoy whats going on here a lot. And by a lot I mean ASDFGHJKL STEVE AND LOKI FEELS

Okay, so I'm just going to say, I love what you are doing here. I normally don't see Steve and Loki as clicking just because they are so different, but you've convinced me with the very idea of Loki liking Steve's brunt honesty. I really, really can't wait for your next continuation of this - especially now that the secret is out!

Oh my god, these stories are amazing..

Loki is so awesome he just makes you write about him doesn't he? I'm glad he has Steve who is trying to make his despondent existence a little bit more bearable.

I just love Steve and Loki interactions, because they just seem so much like opposites of the same coin-moreso, even, than Thor and Loki. They're both strangers in a strange land-they should belong (Asgard SHOULD be home, Earth SHOULD be home-but they aren't) and for all Loki's deceit and Steve's honesty, I feel that of everyone, they have the most understanding of one another.

So, wonderful job and awesome interaction in bringing all of that out. Simply fabulous.
