Yay! It was adorable. I like how you kept Inara out of this one. A Mal/River fic with Inara usually has drama. This was definitely fluffy. I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you!

Mal was a bit OOC, and the whole River/Mal thing I mush admit I foud a little odd. Your presentation could use a little work, and the other characters also went a little OOC at times. I liked the bit where River hyper-analized the Christmas carol, that was a very River thing for her to do.
Brief note: Simon is a scrawny doctor boy, Mal has a gun. I highly doubt that he could kill him. Also, Zoe is acting strangely... merry for a woman who is celebrating her first Christmas since her husband died.

I really liked the tie in with the meaning behind the 12 days of Christmas. Very clever yet sweet.
