My favprite book series is Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas, my favorite manga is Tokyo Ghoul or Seven Deadly Sins, my favorite anime is Fullmetal alchemist, both brotherhood and the original, I cant choose between the two.

PS: I found the 'love story' between Eragon and Arya quite pathetic in the books. It seemed like so much puppy love to me and from what I remember it was never settled.

And fanfiction, the more serious ones that is, that are true to the source material but add 'things'.
Or at least give a good explanation for changing it.
For example I do not like muggles finding/winning from wizards in the Harry Potter universe because in the books this was never a problem even though dementors and giants smashed stuff up in the late nineties.
An explanation for why and how muggles never noticed, even with cameras, would mean adding to the source material. (Steelbadger did this extremely well in his Harry Potter/Avengers cross)
