Not to be a nit picker or anything because I am really loving the story but um... Where is Gwen? She seems to have taken a holiday or is in a coma or just doesn't really care about Merlin and is holed up in her Chambers bemoaning the inevitability of losing Arthur to Merlin or something because she hasn't made a single appearance as yet. Lol. She's supposed to be Merlins friend but no one has informed her of Merlin's condition she isn't helping to research even though she has done so before and is probably better at it than the knights and she hasn't even attended the council meeting for the return of magic. Did the price include Gwen as a sacrifice too? Or did she decide bugger it there's just far too much drama right now, and Arthur's back so the kingdom is in good hands, and I I'm off to the hot tub with a glass of prosecco and a do not disturb sign. Lol

i liked it but it seams that the end was a little rushed and you made it a to easy to fix the problem too

How is it that by randomly clicking stories I run across five sad ones in a row? All of them focused around Merlin's death and only one having that warning in either the summary of AN.

I like this fic and I like potatoes and I like cheese, and potatoes with cheese are particularly good. lol

I love the quick progression of words. The stream-of-consciousness style really fit what was going on. Nice job! lol you ended with Merlin hugging Arthur and rainbow sparks XD

I didn't know that it was possible, but this chapter was even better than the last. I am SO happy with this chapter, and the last one. You've captured the essence of each of the characters, from Merlin and Arthur to Gaius and idea with the word bringing back Merlin's memory was SO cute! It was just perfect, and it wouldn't have been nearly as adorable if Arthur hadn't been the one to deduce the right word. Even Gwaine's protestations brought a great balance of humor into the mix. I LOVED each and every sentence of both chapters, and I'm practically bouncing in my seat with anticipation for the next chapter. You are a wonderful writer! Thanks for taking the time to write this beautiful story, and please please please update as soon as you possibly can!

It took me forever and a day to get around to reading this chapter, but I'm so very glad that I did. This chapter is WONDERFUL! This is what I've been looking for in a Merlin fanfiction. You've captured Arthur's commitment to Merlin perfectly, and you even managed to sneak Gwaine's humor in there. Bravo! Encore! You're brilliant, keep up the great work!
