Of course, he gives a damn! I think that it could take even more than a year to realize that he still loved Scarlett. In your story you are rather optimistic.

Well that was a quick turnaround. I like it, it's somewhat sweet and somewhat bitter. You have a very clear voice as well. It's always nice to hear a slightly new take on this old wish of ours.
