Aww I loved it although it was a little odd that bilbo was daydreaming in the middle of a day dream. I specially loved the dwarfish story and bilbos question about the afterlife and then thorin died! The death scene wasn't too sad but beautiful at the same time. Thank you for this great fic!

I just wish there could be something like "I will stay with you... of course I will, you're my life now..." in the end - as the answer to Thorin's deepest need and because I would say that, I'm absolutely sure about it...Anyway, the story is beautiful.

Okay..weird..you pretty much wrote down all the headcanons that have been floating around my brain the past few weeks, and in a much more succinct and lovely way than I ever could have. Like, Bilbo being "forbidden" to sleep without Thorin anymore. Oh gosh I could see Thorin for once using his 'royal power' to do that, and yet it makes it all the more tragic when Bilbo, in a few short weeks, will be sleeping without Thorin once again for the rest of his life. **BRB SOBBING** All in all, I am waiting on bated breath for next chapter, even though I know what it entails. ;_; You seriously write Thilbo so realistically, canon-compliently, and so beautifully that it hurts.
