Yep, can't even fathom the time since the last update. It's all good, though.

I like how the second chapter sort of parallels the first one to begin with. That's neat. And, now that I've had some time to think about it, I figure Cyclonis must need Piper for some sort of crystal thingi-ma-whatsit beyond her area of expertise, on account of her belly pain at the end of the first chapter.
