Wow great story! I'm torn between being so happy for them and loving that they are so happy together after so long and they still get to be young having fun and in love. Then there is the reality of how the years have passed and Jeremy has had a full happy life with children and grandchildren yet now he's getting old and it's only a matter of time. Aww another great story. Poor Elena, Jeremy will grow old and some day and she wont. Unless she gets the cure, which I doubt. I think Damon will get it. Not sure how I feel about that. Keep writing :)

This was very good.

What really made this story for me was "Jeremy Gilbert is 87 years old." Wow-you just never think of it in those terms, or not often. Melancholy Christmas!
