One thing I love about this story is how nicely leveled the emotions are. The angst or anxiety I feel towards this fic is lighter than most concerning the loss of an OC's family. I'm afraid you're mistaken. You are implying that OC Naruto is the same as OOC Naruto, which shows me you don't actually know what each stands for. Sure, OC Naruto has a grammatical error in which it should be 'OC, Naruto', but otherwise the meaning is the same as Naruto OC. This meaning is an Original Character within Naruto. An OOC however, is an Out of Character Naruto, meaning that Naruto personality is different to canon. This is what you are saying OC Naruto is.

"OC Naruto" and "Naruto OC" are very diffrent things. The latter is an OC in naruto the show, and the former is a Naruto the character who isnt merely out of character but an entirely diffrent person, basically an insert.

I really like Mayu! She has a personality that is so driven and focused, which the others must find really strange for a four year old. The fact that she doesn't tale shit from anyone is great too. I can't wait til Konohamaru is old enough to interact with her more. I bet she'll be a great older sister to him!

Oh ho ho, she saved Hizashi. How's that going to change the plot, I wonder? With Neji not at odds with fate and Hinata, does that mean that he's more willing to protect Hinata during the Chuunin exams? And what of his relationship with Naruto? With Mayu as a connecting thread, does it make them closer? or further apart? You've really started a ripple with this one change, so who knows where this story will go!
