Edwyn and his father... I like them both. They have a kind of understanding and respect for each other without many words and they are both sharp minded and brave.
Bregun is a real pain in the ass. I have no good feeling when it comes to her... I would rather left her behind instead of possibly endanger my family.
I am looking forward when Edwyn returns to the 'in laws' with his 'backup' in tow... ;-)

Am I the only one who wants Edwyn to find a nice uruk/orc and settle down? I suspect Finnan will be back in the picture at some point, though. :P Lovely as always! Really enjoying the recent spate of updates, thanks a bunch! Safe to say it's a nice thing to have in these times.

Individuals... heh! Edwyn, I bow before you and I like your approach of the current 'Mother and Nephew' problem... ;-) ... you really know when to take a sword an when to hire a very clever feather... :-)
I hope the man got wat 'individuals' really entails and I can't wait to see the faces of the mother and nephew when this 'axe' strikes! Please describe it in detail because sometimes there is too much Schadenfreude involved on my part and I won't miss this moment!

Oh, this chapter leaves me with a very strong wish for justice! This woman has destroyed her son many years ago and now she has the gall to drag another boy into her abusive power play. A well prepared boy, it seems. There will be no mercy...
There must be a solution. This land belongs to Halla. With the blessing of the queen and the king, there could be a new start for her and Maukurz... which is overdue, the war is over.

Sometimes, when you are desperate and need a friend... he is simply there for you. Wonderful chapter, please keep going with this story. It is one of them I will never forget. :-)

Edwyn is in a very difficult position. His knowledge and his desires are not suitable for the society he is living in. I do jot envy him. On top there is the list... he must feel terrible.

I cant describe how happy I am about your update! Finnans story is really a sad one. Who could he have been if his parents had not treated him so cruel? But more important: Who could he be now? I hope he will be able to recocnize the kindness shown to him by Ranthauk, Sirhani and Jalil...
