I think you did Romione justice. I love Ron's worrying about how the plane will stay up, and the fact that Arthur sort of understood aerodynamics. And the back-and-forth between Ron and Hermione was perfect, as they both reassured each other-that the plane would stay up, that her parents would be fine... well done.

I am not usually a Ron/Hermione shipper, but this fic is amazing. You really captured their personalities. It shows their relationship without being sickenly sweet or dirtier that Ron/Hermione ought to be.
I'm pretty sure you need to write another chapter.

Aw. :) Kelly, that was really sweet. Your Hermione and Ron were both very in character... especially Ron's worrying. xD That was really cute. And Hermione's reassurances were also realistic. For some reason, I absolutely LOVED the line ["I'll explain physics on the plane. Now, come on."]. I don't know why, but something about it was just perfect.

One thing that made it sound a little awkward was the lack of contractions. Some parts really seemed to be lacking them, and it sounded a bit too formal. Other than that, though, this was really well done. :) Great job, Kels!

Aww that was so CUTE! I just /love/ Ron's anxiety about going on muggle transport and how Hermione is just completely cool and collected and just sorts Ron out straight away and even after that he's still anxious because HE'S RON AND RON IS ANXIOUS! Just one teeny thing I noticed 'airplane' should be 'aeroplane' because they're in britain :) but it didn't detract from the fic at all, this was brill. Great job!

Kelly, don't you dare doubt your Romione skillz, 'cause you got 'em, gurl. I lovelovelove your Ron here, and how hesitant he is about flying - because, let's be honest, for a Gryffindor, he's still a bit apprehensive about things, eh? - and Hermione calming him down was perfect.

I found your Hermione dialogue was spot on, and all the little mannerisms were perfect (i.e. worrying about the passport, thinking she can soothe Ron with physics, etc). I like how you included Hermione's guilt over her parents, and her worries about how they would feel about what she did. Perfectly Hermione. And then Ron's reassurance made my stomach go all fuzzy. :3

And Ron wanting the Levitating Charm is just wonderful!

This was wonderful... I have a hard time writing Hermione myself, but I love writing Ron... but I think you did a very good job here. I like the concept... although I think a second part where she gets her parents would be awesome... I liked the ending and I think you wrote Ron very, very well.. I didn't notice any spelling or grammar mistakes... so wonderful job.

I love how you included Arthur being jealous, and Ron being all nervous as a reccuring theme, the concept of putting a levitating charm on the plane was rather funny.

That was so cute! You portrayed the two of them perfectly! I'm not a huge fan of romione, but you still made me grin like an idiot. Ron was so supportive of her, and I imagine that he really went with her to Autstralia in canon as well. The Arthur comment made me laugh. I'd love to see what happens next! Awesome job! :)

This is really sweet! To be honest, I'm usually not the biggest fan of reading about major characters like the Trio, but I think you've done a wonderful job with Romione here. Ron's nervousness and Hermione's calmness about going on a plane both seem so realistic and in-character; in fact, they were IC throughout the whole piece, in my opinion. The first sentence was a great description of the bustle of an airport, and I love how you ended that sentence with 'and then there was Ron, doing his best to pretend to be a Muggle' (or, well, something like that :P) Hermione's worry about what she had done to her parents makes a lot of sense, as well, and I really like your take on Ron-and-Hermione-get-Hermione's-parents - I don't think I've actually read a fic where they were traveling to Australia before. This was wonderful, great work!

[and in the middle of it all was Ron who was doing his best to act like a Muggle.] I loved that line. Seriously. I could totally picture Ron at Heathrow, being nervous and trying his best not to be different from the rest of the people at the airport.

I recently wrote a story where Hermione goes to Australia as well, but I like your take on the event too. I like that you included Ron in this and how he was so supportive of her.

Oh, this was lovely. I love the relationship between Ron and Hermione (and can't really imagine them with anyone else, despite how popular other ships are in fanfiction) and you portrayed this very well; you can tell that they've matured, but they're still the same characters we met on the Hogwarts Express in 1991. This has always been a really interesting scene for me, and I was kind of sad that you didn't include Hermione actually meeting her parents, but in some ways, it wasn't needed. As always, amazing job! :)

It's always interesting to take a character and put him or her in an uncomfortable situation, and after Ron's experience with his dad's enchanted car, I can imagine that any Muggle transportation would be scary—let alone an airplane halfway across the world! You have a ton of nice details, such as Ron chewing the inside of his cheek and Arthur's grasp of aerodynamics despite his inability to pronounce the word. The way that Hermione has a niggling fear that she got something wrong with the fake passport is so VERY Hermione! Her various vulnerabilities about her decision to Obliviate her parents and Ron's nurturing response make me feel warmer towards their relationship—he's so tender. You end the story well: I like how it is when Hermione has fallen asleep on his shoulder that Ron decides that Muggle transportation isn't bad after all.
