| VanillaxMuse chapter 1 . 2/2/2017 I don't know if I can find the right words to express my thoughts on this fic, but I'll try. Kagome and Sesshoumaru's relationship dynamics might seem off putting at first to the modern reader, but as I read on I understand what you're trying to portray and there's something silently beautiful about it. Kagome is a strong-willed and stubborn individual, so having her be deferential to Sesshoumaru seems weird, but then again, she's older here and more mature. The part that really cinched it for me was when Sesshoumaru said he was unworthy of saying Kagome's name... that scene squeezed my heart in a good way. Kagome and Kurama's interactions are also cute, the way they're tricking everybody around them. And the whole idea with the arrangement is a good one. It solves so many problems of having a demon lover in the modern world. |
