Mm, this is very good, if I may say so myself.
Major144 chapter 1 . 12/30/2013
A great story! I really felt the emotionally bond between Katara and Bumi. It was packed with great emotion and detail. Great Job!
Gamergirl777 chapter 1 . 7/16/2013

ayziks chapter 1 . 5/18/2013
This was awesome Jokermask! An entirely new look at the age old concern of Bumi being the non bending child and his feelings of inadequacy and being loved less at times.

I really liked the spirit journey together with mom and son to battle the Fallen One. Very good OC with a good backstory/plausibility with Roku's explanation.

Yes, very nice story. Perfect for Mothers Day as you said.
CometTrail chapter 1 . 3/25/2013
This is really well written. I also enjoyed the story line. This is exactly what I would picture Katara saying in this kind of situation, so you have characters down pat. Nice work! :)
DeathscytheVII chapter 1 . 2/4/2013
Great work on this AU, the fallen one was an interesting villain. Loved the Toza reference as a pro-bender, very few people pay attention to that guy so great so see him get his due :) Your Bumi and katara relationship was great, and I'm betting the show will at least cover something like that when they show more of Bumi, and how it must feel to be the only non-bender in the family.

I like how you showed his insecurity about being an nonbender, especially since that's reasonable for someone in a family of strong benders. However, I do think you're being unfair to Sokka. We've never seen him fight as an adult, and in the show, he was self-taught with Water Tribe weapons, and three days of training with the sword.

Silver Omega 01 chapter 1 . 1/24/2013
Once again, an excellent story. The mix of happiness, fun and tragic was something i wasn't used to, but i really enjoyed it. I couldn't help but smile through most of this story and the sad parts made me really feel for Bumi. As always, i loved the way you tie things together, like the Typhoon Toza and especially the Amon idea.
Really looking forward to any more works you do for ATLA or LOK!
