![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not one to read crossovers that often, but you've woven the characters together so well that I'm glad that I read this story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What an absolutely entertaining, well-written story. Found this on the fic rec list at tvtropes and I'm very glad I did. I love the idea of them returning to life (even if I originally cringed at some of the implications, you pulled it off well and without a touch of offense to be given or taken, kudos). The whole plot with the dwarves-turned-traitor was a stroke of brilliance, if a sad one, but it makes sense. Not every single person from every single race can be completely light or dark, right? (Although I'd very much like to see a good fic about an orc that goes against his/her breeding, haven't yet) I do appreciate the shades of gray you painted here, and the way you molded the culture while being true to the characters and then having them actually HEAL (well, maybe not so much Kili, although I know he's well on his way-this fic may also be entitled 'Or the Torture of Kili and How He Survived Despite Never Being Given the Chance to Fully Heal') and realize their faults and change. Very much looking forward to the sequel (I really want to know who the heck is behind all of this, and have no doubt that it has something to do with Saruman-I'm guessing the head of the Death Warriors was in league with him) if you get around to writing it. Thank you for the great read! Definite faves. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my... HE LIVES! I am not sure why but Kili dying... brings me to tears every time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Omg... i swear kili better not die... hell i refused to watch BOTFA because of the ending. When i finally did, it was not pretty at all. I can handle kili getting put through all kinds of torture, but his death... nope not me. ugh... as much as i want to say im done... i gotta know if there is some sliver of hope he still lives. |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW! I think this chapter should come with an extreme chance of outrageous laughter may soon occur upon reading... lol |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love your stories! The only thing that I have to say and I understand taking a few liberties, and if thats what happened please ignore me. Kili was 77 during the quest, and Fili five years older so 82-83. At least according to the family tree in appendix A of Return of the King. Either way take care and good writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() 3 Me is Happy. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You. You did NOT JUST DO THAT! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Okay. Sanity has returned, sorry for the tiny lapse in control xD WHYYYYYY not Kili and Fili, AGAIN! Stupid Stupid blacklocks, *mubmles dark curses under her breath* Just as we have them back, I want to coddle them, lock them up inside their home in the Blue Mountains ensuring they will NEVER EVER GET KILLED! Seriously. I love your writing and I can't believe it took me so long to stumble over this great story! I don't know what is going to happen. I know this story has been finished for a while, but. Just. Argh. Reading on now in the hope nothing else will happen (NOTHING WILL, RIGHT? RIGHT?! O.O) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I wanted to wait for the end to leave a comment, but the story of Legolas is EPIC! I can truly imagine it, spinning and spinning, clattering on the floors, lord Elrond on a pair of iceskates (figuratively speaking) and Lady Galadriel caught between two old wizard wobbling on their legs themselves! I laughed so hard, Thank you So. Off to read the rest! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That is an awesome story! It's amazing! And it has a happy ending! What's not to like? :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. Yay, we met Therin! |
