OK, I guessed they must be using John and Sherlock's names at the beginning to have such reactions from the immigration officers. I shouldn't skim through the back to get spoiled about who the real shapeshifter is. It's still a very entertaining read, very in character and well written. I still got confused being able to assess John's memory from the beginning but I'll take your word for it. I think in some parts it was only Sherlock alone like in some parts at the night club so John and others shouldn't know what he was up to. But anyway, that's fine :)

This was written a while ago but I just wanted to say thanks for writing it. It's been a while since I've found a good story I didn't stop halfway through and with this story it's just so good I don't want to turn the page because then it gets closer to the end, and I don't want to end. Your writing is interesting and it isn't too easy to guess what is going to happen next. :) Ty

I was so sure that the Sam with the gun was actually the shifter, since if the real Sam had the gun he would just shoot the shifter and let its reaction to silver be the tell, while the shifter's motives were a bit shaky and he might've wanted to continue the charade for a while, so shooting real!Sam was out. That, and none of them simply asked Sam to hand them the gun. The shifter would sooner shoot them all than hand over the only weapon, I think...
Also, how was the fake evidence getting around? Like, I could see maybe planting fake evidence or maybe somehow messing with the perceptions of people he spent a lot of time with via supernatural brain-link (because I can't think of any other way he could change the freakin weather), but Molly is exempt from that (she didn't have anything of theirs or something, right?) and she saw the sulfur and bruises too. But if it were actual planted evidence, then it wouldn't have disappeared after a while, right?
You write them all so well XP I've always found Dean hard to characterize. Don't even get me started on Sherlock's deductions-yours were utterly brilliant. Kudos!

I went ahead and downloaded this to my tablet so I've already read this I loooved it but I have a few pointers for you (as a person who has lived in areas where UK English and US English has spbeen spoken I know terminology can get screwy)
Um no one in the US uses the word torch they use flashlight so I think it would be really cute/funny if john asked for a torch and sam and dean are confused. Hmmm and its more common for someone to say they went to the thaetre then the cinema. And one last thing this is purely for aesthetics but I think it would be a cool idea if you did american spellings of word for when Sam and Dean are talking but overall great job loved it. :)
