Reading this again and realized I didn't comment enough about how much I love the way you write Jane and Mauras love for each other. And their characters personalities are perfect. All of it is very well done. And thank you for it.

Still sad that this fic didnt get an ending :(

So far the pacing of the story isn't all to bad! Jane and Maura's first meeting was great and is kind of one of my favorite stories to hear while in real life, and I don't think I've read a fanfiction where any of my favorite shippings saved one another from a dude who couldn't take a hint, and their flirtation seems with one another over the phone seems natural and fun which I think some writers have a hard time showcasing because they always seemed so forced to me, but this flows so naturally and I love that.

I freaking love that Vince is Jane's step father. I always saw him as a type of father figure in Jane's life, and I think that if it ever came down to it Ange and Vince wouldn't be a bad couple I suppose.

I totally get where Jane is coming from and I really related to the entire "trying to prove everyone wrong" and tried not to let anyone label me - and I think that was such a beautiful scene involving Jane's character, and also seeing that bond between her and Vince. Also I'm curious has Jane dated before then? Or did she never date anyone and used work and school as an excuse?

Another great chapter! I think the length can still be worked on, but aside from that I believe that your writing is great! Also Jane being protective of Maura and looking out for her after that dude kept hitting on her is one of my favorite things ever when it comes to stories in general - I love seeing other women save women from uncomfortable situations

Constance doing what she did is just typical of the rich. I think it would have been much better to introduce Maura's biological father into the story and let him arrange for Garrett to have an unfortunate 'accident' at Paddy's hands.

I think there's too much angst creeping into this story and I am loosing interest a bit but I will stick it out until the end. I do have to say though Maura thumping Garrett and her 'Officer Sweetie' remark to Jane did make me laugh out loud.

Hope you're planning a wedding because that would be the perfect ending. Could be Constance on the telephone to Maura. I'm actually surprised she's not turned up yet because I cant wait for the confrontation between her and Jane because I just know she'll not aprove of Jane since she's so lower class than Constance and Maura in Constance eyes anyway.
