I am so sorry I haven't already reviewed this gem of a story. I've read it at least 4x, and I honestly thought I already did my bit.

There's not a single false note here. I felt everything Lizzie and William felt: the heartbreak-induced insomnia, the lethargy, the resignation to a bleak future, the sudden appearance of a lifeline, and the delicate denouement that really is only the beginning. I particularly applaud William's plea to Lizzie to order him to leave her alone if she didn't want him because he is simply incapable of leaving her on his own. It was such a Darcy thing to say and to be. Just a beautiful piece of work.

I love this. Both characters are so spot-on, and their interactions feel very true to the series. The kiss at the end is a wonderful resolution to the earlier angst.

The injustice of you only having six reviews for this brilliant little story is too much for me to handle, so I'm doing what I can to fix it. :D I don't care if this gets cannonballed, the sheer joy I experienced from reading about Darcy with 'droopy eyes' at six in the morning after kissing Lizzie is too wonderful. Opening with that darn Magic Bullet ad set the tone brilliantly. I think the sweetness of the pair of them being 'sleepy' is just beyond fantastic. Thanks for this. What an awesome story. :)

I just love the tenderness the quiet morning feeling of them finally connecting and then falling asleep together because they are finally at peace. Beautiful and peaceful, yet full of love and caring.
