My god. Well that was just... gorgeous. Hauntingly so.

There was a moment in Lucy's opium den where I started to hear part of the score of Bram Stoker's Dracula; of course it was the way you wrote his entrance.

I like how you ebb and flow between the story as it's written and the story as it should have been ;-)
: I do hope that you continue in that same vein (pun intended).

I especially appreciated how Mina didn't want to know how much was truth and how much fancy to Lucy's conquests and in turn Lucy's obvious aversion to Mina's marriage.

I like the tender and unavoidable seduction that both women seem to do unintentionally to each other. And I hope that more chapters follow and that they eventually do fall in bed together.
