Loved this. Hilarious. Had something similar happen years ago. I wrote a story for a distance writing course, and to see if it was any good I emailed it to an online buddy. Said buddy thought that I was a.) having an affair with a married man and b.) going to off myself because the man wouldn't leave his wife for me. While that was what the story was about, it was not anything close to what was going on in my life. Moving on though, I love the concept of a misunderstanding over a homework assignment. Well, actually I like when things are actually how they seem. Kinda think that Carlos knew that they had confused his homework with a suicide note, since he told them he'd let them know about his assignments and apologized for scaring them. Adding to my favs list.

Anyhow, to actually review your actual story: Dude, that was a really good Romeo suicide note. Muy impressive. Mr. Archer's gotta give Carlos an A. I'D give Carlos an A. Therefore, YOU get an A. Well done! Also, this whole scenario cracked me up. The whole time. And even in the midst of the fact that it was hilarious, it was still so sweet. Obviously, these guys totally love each other so much. They're like brothers, and that's always too too fun. Aw. I love brothers.

I love clueless Carlos: "It's my suicide note." Like...uh...guys, what is your malfunction?

And then James and the others like, Why does he not get why we're upset?

Oh, also, question: did someone from James' past commit suicide or something? This seemed super hard on him. Not that it wouldn't be hard on anyone, but...also, he seemed to know what "the signs" were. Of course, I suppose he could've picked those up watching anti-depressant commercials. I don't know. Just my thoughts and wonderings.
