You nailed an age-old problem with us. We tend to judge people too quickly, without knowing their story. If we knew, we'd be more sympathetic and less judgmental. Again, this goes for everyone, not just heroes-Danny, Sam, Tuck, Val-or leaders-Mr. Lancer and other faculty. We should be more like Jazz, trying to ascertain why this person does what he/she does.

Your story wasn't too long. Enough details to get your point across, but not so loaded with trivialities that it distracted the reader from the story. Plus, you developed the plot line well, and shaped the characters' actions and reactions around its theme. Few authors achieve this so gracefully. Hope to read more stories like this one.

Aaron12, i saw your Desiree/Poindexter pic in Deviantart, and after reading this fic about them, i chose them as one of my OTPs and i'm planning to do a fic about them. But of course, I won't make a copy of your (this) fic.

With this one, I have a hard pick on which of your DP stories is my favorite. At most, I could say it ties with A Family Thing. The central theme here is that we all deserve to be loved, and no one should be all alone. I loved how you expanded on Desiree's backstory, considering that the series didn't delve too much on her side of the story (and how she ended up becoming that genie she is now), adding up a bigger element of tragedy. Sidney proved that, sometimes, one small act can have a HUGE impact, for better or for worse, in this case him just trying to show her some genuine gratitude was what it took to finally free her.

Bottom line, another great episode. Almost sad that there are only two more to go, but it's been well worth it. On to the next one.

That was pretty touching. Nice to see Poindexter and Desiree get their happily ever afters, after all they deserved it. The thing with Kwan and the unpopular girl was also sweet; I always got the feeling that he's a good guy and Dash is just a poisonous influence on him(trust me I know what that's like). You think you could do stories involving ghosts like Youngblood and that ice ghost that's always going "won't anyone be my friend"? Cuz I feel they're very unused characters. Anyway till next time.

That was very sweet. Cliche and mushy, but still very sweet. And you gave Desiree a happy ending, one that she so very much deserves. The fact that it's with Sidney just proves that nerds rule. Also loved the bit with Kwan. I always pictured him as bullying Danny just b/c Dash did it, but was never really okay with it.
