You transposed them SO WELL, right down to translating all the Great Motivations into things that still work in the modern world, and ye gods and little fishes the perfectly aimedquoting.

And the conversations omg. Hiko and Kaoru and Misao and Aoshi and the COURTING and Kenshin will be the best dad ever and I just. eeeeee.

I loved it! Definitely loved it better than Beside the Point. It was sweeter and more personal than its predecessor which was without a doubt an improvement.

What a fun one shot! Wanted him to say that proposing was what the party had been all about, until the bullets started flying- but it was lovely just as it was. I liked the structure you gave this story, with the switching back and forth of storylines as well as timelines. Nicely written and everyone had a moment, even Sano although his was trussed up as a turkey. (Yes, Megumi, there is such a thing as TMI.)

Well, I love how despite the modern conversion the Kenshin-gumi are still the Kenshin-gumi. Especially the baka deshi himself. Issues. Gosh, does that guy have issues. And SHISHOU AND KAORU INTERACTION! ALWAYS LOVED BONUSES LIKE THAT! Also, Saitou and his wife.

the above is the trailer for the second- 'the legend ends' -sequel. they had changed the story of the anime and it is quite interesting and scary in the implications but the director had hinted on another movie (a prequel... hopefully it'll be both remberance and jinchuu arcs).

the first sequel has already been shown (i think it will be shown in california but that's 3000 miles from where i am) and the second will be out next month and hopefully won't be the last ones as i'm counting on big box office numbers again to motivate them to film more... :) ... you can see the first one online at a place called: gooddrama (you can google it) go there and type in rurouni kenshin... click on the pic of the movie and then ignore where it says to watch it and scroll down below the actors' pictures and click where it says: Rurouni Kenshin (2012) -it can be watched in any one of the three or four screens on the page (different people uploaded each and i usually watch the first on any anime/video site like that *shrugs*) and make sure you have adblocker and run a scan with maleware bytes after any site like that to get rid of any spyware... you can get ghostery as an add-on if you use firefox to stop trackers. i know it's a lot of trouble but i really trust doing all that than downloading from bittorrent or something like it. but you can also get the dvd from places like cd-japan or amazon.

Read this for the first time today. I don't know how I missed this before. It was a lot of fun. I would love to see you do more with Misao and Aoshi but I'm sure that's just my wishful thinking.
